Dr. Dempsey was selected by the Board of Directors as the Notre Dame Alumni Association 2023 Dr. Thomas A. Dooley Award winner. The Dooley Award was established in 1984 and is conferred on an alumnus or alumna who has exhibited outstanding service to humankind.
