Resident Wellness

Here at the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Wisconsin we strive to implement and maintain a strong physician well-being program. In addition to numerous campus and hospital wide wellness resources available to residents, our program holds many wellness events throughout the year. Our senior resident, Dr. Kimberly Hamilton, has initiated a neurosurgery resident-focused, research-backed, wellness program utilizing fitness trackers, group & individual workout plans, and ongoing group activities of the residents. We also hold department wide activities including nature walks at the UW Arboretum, group outings to university and regional sporting events, and yearly gatherings.
