Parking Permit Application Open

Applications for 2026-27 parking permits are now open: UW–Madison Transportation Services is now accepting applications for base lot, Flex, Accessible, park and ride and business alternate parking permits. Apply for Round 1 by May 29. While there will be additional rounds offered through the summer, employees who need permits next academic year are strongly encouraged to apply during Round 1.

April SMPH All Staff Recording

A recording from the April 30 SMPH All Staff Forum is now available through Box: The forum featured answers to staff questions on manager effectiveness and support, the school's financial landscape and planning, Workday and Advarra, work environment and workload, and compensation and career progression. The Box folder also contains the Forum slides, answers to questions placed in the Q&A and an auto-generated transcript. The forum was co-hosted by the SMPH Committee on Academic Staff Issues and SMPH Human Resources

2026-27 parking rates and program updates

We have announced rate and program changes for the upcoming year.
Effective Sept. 1, 2026, there will be a 2 percent increase for most parking permits.
Eligibility rules for the reduced cost permit program and rates for Flex parking, visitor parking, and Metro Transit employee bus passes will remain the same.
Campus electric vehicle (EV) charging stations will be upgraded and require user fees.
